Philippines is one of the country in the world that have lots of known or popular tourist spots some of it are the Banaue Rice Terraces one of the 8 Wonders of the World, Chocolate Hills in Bohol,Luneta Park in Manila,Boracay Island in Aklan,Mount Apo in Davao and many more.
In this blog we will show you some of the beautiful places,beach resorts and restaurants here in Leyte. We will start to promote to you the places in our own town which here in Villaba it is in the west part of Western Leyte.Villaba, officially the Municipality of Villaba, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 41,891 people.Wikipedia.
D' Mangrove Bay Beach Resort was located in Sitio Camarota, Silad, Villaba,Leyte.If you we’re from Ormoc City, Leyte it was 2 hours travel by bus(50Php.bus bound to San Isidro or Tabango,Leyte), 1 and 1/2 hours by riding a Van (bound for San Isidro and Tabango, Leyte 90 Php). If you ride the van bound to Villaba and Palompon(90 Php) you can drop in Villaba crossing to San Isidro and you can ride the motorcycles or dagit -dagit to mangrove for( 10 Php/person.) 1hr if u use your own vehicle. It was very easy to find because it was in the side of the National Road to San Isidro, Leyte.

It was called Mangrove because it was planted with mangroove trees or bakawan. Bakawan or mangrove was a tropical trees that has roots which grow from its branches and that grows in swamps or shallow salt water that help the ecosystem and for the habitation of the fishes.
First, it was started in just small and only few nipa hut just for the small group of people that will swim there,but now it has a lot of Huts that can accommodate for parties and seminars,rooms for overnight swimmers, videoke house,dining tables near the sea.

They have swimming pools for your kids so they are safe.
If you are one of those people who love to see the sunset,this place was very perfect for sunset sightseeing and the veiw are very relaxing.
